Details

This piece was made for friends for their first living child. The base is made out of apple wood as it partially matches their name and the moon phases are walnut. Each moon shape/size is a different phase to represent each of their birthdays in their family. The phases represent both parents, their first child they lost to miscarriage, the due date of their second child and their dog. The wood beads were used to help hold the leather strings in place to hold the moon pieces. 

Mobile is made apple wood, walnut, leather, and pine.
